Are you considering a career in the merchant service industry? If any of these privileges resonate with you, then you might consider becoming a merchant service agent:

  1. Control Over Your TimeMost people never experience the joy of being in control of what they do every single day. Being a merchant service agent gives you a lot of flexibility that being tied to a desk just doesn’t.
  2. More MoneyIf you work for someone else, you often feel lucky to get a raise. Being a merchant service agent, your business is ideally always growing, so you’re always getting “a raise.” You can also make money even when you’re not working. Try that with a normal job.
  3. Control Over Who You Work WithWhen you run your own business, there’s no reason to tolerate people you dislike.
  4. Control Over What You DoWithout someone to tell you what to do, you have the freedom to run your businesses in a way that makes the most sense to you, and you never have to go against your better judgment.
  5. Never Getting BoredWhen you’re a merchant service sales agent, there’s no much variety in your job, you’ll never get bored. Does this sound like something you’d like to explore? Take steps towards becoming a sales agent today.

Setting good goals is imperative for success, but they mean nothing if you don’t act on them. Here’s five tips to turn your plans into reality.

  1. Write down your goals. A study by Dr. Gail Matthews, a psychology professor at Dominican University in California, found that you are 42 percent more likely to achieve your goals just by writing them down.
  2. Visualize your goals coming true. If you can conceive it, you can achieve it. The power of positive thinking has been proven over and over again.
  3. If things aren’t working, tweak your plan but keep your goal.
  4. Share your goals with those who inspire and encourage you—avoid naysayers.
  5. When inertia sets in, keep at it. Motivation + Discipline = Success!
